He doing a ride around the coastline of Britain, 4800 miles, supposed to be finished by Chrimbo, doing 200 miles a day. Its for a TV program.

Trying to do it in 18 days.

Anyone know where he is or how he's doing?

200 miles a day for 18 days is 3,600 miles. So, to answer your queston, he is presumably stranded somewhere 1,200 miles from home.

If I can work out when he's coming past in the Devon area, I'll happily go along with the boys and give him a cheer.

I should have about 10 days til he makes it down here.

Sheltering behind the camera van I expect.

Why do the whole west coast into a hideous headwind? Oh well, he should FLY along the south coast anyway.

Given how much he dislikes publicity etc, I'd be surprised if he's updating his location etc. When he did tour divide he did it under a false name, I'd guess so that people couldn't follow his tracker.

And to preserve the "did he make it or not" integrity of the tv show and book, one assumes.

I've been there. My achilles is still mending, four months later. Plucky spirit will help you endure but he needed more than that to break a record like this, especially in December, on a mountain bike.

That tendon really does stop you in your tracks, I did mine and it was excruciating, took a long time.

I was hopeful the programme would be on this evening as it was scheduled as so in my TV & Sat mag but, having now looked on the TV planner it is not to be. frown

Am wondering if the part completed challenge will ever be shown in the near future?

Yes shame, he's a strong cyclist and humble- the Tour Divide is the hardest thing you can do on a bike.
