Mtb illumination

Got an urge to take the trails on my way home instead of dicing with death and playing with lorries.

https://www.alpkit.com/products/boson has caught my eye, and alpkit normally do me well, anyone else tried it or have another one to try?

Don't want the battery pack separate from the light as my stem is 30mm long so can't hang it there and frame mount look ugly as f***.

I don’t know anything about that one but I can highly recommend lights from this guy (I have a couple and my daughter has one too). Light outputs are generally excellent as are the burn times.

I use USE Exposure lights, not cheap by any means and a severe case of man maths are required, but they are excellent. All self contained, excellent burn times and brighter than a small sun!

Evans have them in their sale at the moment.

I have a Race on the bars and a Joystick on my lid.

Went for a fluxiant, that's a lot of light!

Never been a night rider before, is the main beam better on the helmet or bars? Only for the one light at the moment.
