Garmin cycle computer with mapping and ant connectivity.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced garmin bike computer that will do navigation and connect to him, speed and cadence sensors please?

I am not averse to used ones as the new high end ones seem fairly pricy.

I think i have secured a 800 with brand new hrm, cadence and speed sensors with out front bike for £150 from a very local seller.

Not sure the 520 does full turn by turn Nav. I've just picked up a second hand reconditioned 810 for £160 which whilst being the last generation is at least fairly reliable. Avoid the 820 its garbage. The 1000 is quite big and not without its own issues.

Have you tried using your phone first?

There are a number out there that work with ANT+ (my Xperia Z3, for example), and my stress levels have been infinitely lowered by not having to content with bloody awful Garmin reliability, bloody useless Garmin customer service and just generally bloody frustrating Garmin arrogance any more!

It's more than accurate enough for anything I need, and the battery easily lasts 4+ hours even when using it for navigation, which is as much as I'm ever likely to ride without being able to stop and charge it, although I do have a tiny little external charge pack which I can strap to the bars if I need to double the battery life.

The 520 will tell you when turns are coming up on a route but it wont act like a sat nav and create a route to a destination for you.
Also the 800/810 have quite a bad reputation for reliability, some of those threads being on this site.
