Canyon kids bikes
Discussion
Am I reading that right - you want your 3 year old to try and propel a 9kg bike?
No experience of Canyon but I recently got a Littlebig bike following a good review on road.cc:

It didn't spend long as a balance bike and is now being happily ridden around with the chainset added (less than 5 minute job.) It's light, simple and thus far reliable. Sub-6kg mark means I don't notice it when I chuck it over the shoulder and walk home after the morning school run.

Our youngest (2nd of 2, no more thanks) is on his older brother's Islabike Rothan, and starting to get the hang of it aged 26 months. The eldest went straight to an Islabikes Cnoc 16 from the Rothan aged 3.5 years, and was pedalling around on his own within 10 minutes of first trying it, no stabilisers.
I'm a massive fan of balance bikes, and if we were starting now, the Little-Big bike would get my money. (Islabikes are still very good, but they have been getting competition over the last couple of years...)
