Where they o buy some touring/casual shorts.
Discussion
Any suggestions on where to by some casual cycling shorts? I want something like the Rapha Touring shorts or Vulpine casual shorts, but I would rather not pay £80-£90 for them. I'm happy to pay £50, but that's a bit too much. What I'm after is some well cut shorts suitable for me to cycle to work in over summer, cycle round Oxford and visit academic departments from time to time. There is no problem with me wearing shorts, but Lycra wouldn't be acceptable (obviously) and MTB shorts are a bit to casual, but that's all anywhere seems to sell.
I also want to be able to try them on (I sometimes struggle with sizing as I'm an odd shape. Short legs long body). I'm happy to travel 40 miles ish from north Oxfordshire. Any recommendations of where to go?

Are Cargo shorts too casual?
I bought some Fox camo print ones a while back and they're pretty good. But if Camo is a bit too MTB for you, then they do do plainer versions, but with side pockets.

These look pretty normal - Endura do some others in their range as well - Wiggle seem to do good a deal for £25:
