Giant TCR Wheel and Tyre upgrade.
Discussion
I have a Giant TCR with standard Giant PR-2 wheels and Giant Tyres.
Last year the bike went out on the road twice covering around 80 miles, due to a preference towards MTB - this year I have far surpassed last years count and quite enjoying it, I have a charity ride with work which is acting as some encouragement to get out more on the road.
From experience the Giant wheels are not always the lightest, the bike could do with a new rear tyre (used alot on a TT) so I am thinking of an upgrade. and keeping the original wheel / tyre for the TT.
I don't want to spend a fortune, I had looked on Merlins site and they are doing a few package deals Fulcrum 5 LG + Continental tyres for £229, is this a good option?
I'd say £250 is my budget, maybe with a bit of Creep/extra for tyres, I am a BC member so could get discount at a few places maybe..
I'm also about 14st.

I'd seriously consider these with your budget. Good bang for your buck and competitive spec/weight.
