Now racking up the spring / summer miles I fancy a nice bib top / shorts combo and like the look of some of the Cervelo stuff - is there anything to be aware of in terms of strange sizing etc? Annoyingly the shorts I want to match the top I like are out of stock - anyone know if this is a regular occurrence and whether re-stocking happens swiftly?

Cheers,

Isn't it just castelli stuff?, cervelo don't make clothing.

Thanks, makes sense - someone in Snow Rock said the same this afternoon.

So any good? It is definitely a 'Cervelo' website (although seems like Castelli make them) so would the Castelli sizes be the same as the Cervelo branded stuff if I order on line?

If it's like for like then yes, castelli like all the others do different cuts from tighter aero race stuff to more casual cycle clothing. If it's branded cervelo team kit, chances are it's race cut. There will be size guides on the website.

must have been having a 'blonde' moment, just realised it is MORVELLO I am looking at, specifically the 'Fest Nth Series' stuff.

Morvelo even.

No sizing issues, and it's good quality gear, definitely one of the better manufacturers. Some funky designs as well..

I bought some Morvelo bib shorts in a closing down sale at christmas. Paid a tenner for them

Probably the best, most comfortable shorts I've ever owned. Fantastic even on a 110 mile arse pounder of a ride last weekend.

Tenner! I think the ones I am looking at are £90..... that is good feedback on the 'arse pounder' though thank you .... :-)

I have spoken to them this morning (they are based in Brighton) extremely helpful I have to say.

I have a pair of their shorts which I keep for big rides, anything over 4 hours. Retail they were £90 but I got them in a sale for £50.
I also have the Chasseur de Cols top. It looks good and has an extra pocket which can sometimes make a difference

I have a lot of their kit, bibs, tights, jerseys, winter jerseys, bib knickers etc ... Great quality, sizing spot, crash discount scheme is great (unfortunately) and they're quick to answer questions and they're British.

A friend of mine is sponsored by them, unfortunately she is smaller and much thinner than me, not to mention being a different sex.

They live in the next street to me. (Might have been one of their flash sales and not a closing down come to think) Really lovely people.
