Campag 9 speed freewheel
Discussion
Does anyone know where I can get Campag 9 speed freewheels, compatible with this sort of hub?

It's for a very nice early 80s Dave Yates bike - I'm trying to get it reasonably close to its original drive train setup.

You can get nine speed freewheels, but they will be too wide for those hubs. You could space the axle out more, but you run the risk of breaking the axle, and the wheel will need more dish in it.
Originally these hubs would be for either a six or seven speed freewheel, and downtube shifters...

Ah, ok, many thanks. In that case, does anyone know where I can get 36H retro hubs that will be 9 speed compatible? Or is it a case of keeping an eye on ebay and being patient?
All Campag 9/10/11 hubs will work, they haven't altered the spacing. You could go for current Record but I think they are 32h only.
Or Miche racing box 2 / Primato if you want a a cheaper alternative and 36h: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/miche-racing-box-pair-of-h...
The stickers will come off to leave a nice shiny silver hub.
