Hi guys,

I picked up a Bikehub turbo trainer for my mountain bike however the noise is unbearable so I'm looking for a smooth turbo trainer tyre but I can't seem to find any that fits.

Tyre size says (54-559) 26x2.10

Rim says 559 X 17C and recommended tyre section width 25mm - 52mm.

I can't seem to find anything wide enough but I haven't really got a clue what I'm looking for..

If anyone can link any suitable tyres I would most appreciate it!

Thanks smile

Something like this will be fine -

or the 26 x 1.25 option on this

ref the noise, I am assuming you mean you are still using knobbly tyres on the turbo and that's making noise, rather than the turbo itself - some types of turbo trainers are quite noisy generally

That's brill thank you smile

Yes its the knobbly tyres causing the excessive noise although I don't expect it to be silent although as it is would soon piss the neighbour off!

My hack bike is running a pair of specialised Nimbus (slick) tyres in 26x1.5", they are horrid and hard on the road but near silent (at 70psi) on the turbo.
