Bikes should only ride on straight roads?

This came up on my local community FB feed the other day. The guy rides a similar route that I do, but I've never had any issues. However, it's the last sentence of a post reply that I couldn't quite believe! Edit: this is in Northern California.
Original post:
"Not my intention to start another bike vs. car thread, but I've been on two rides in the past three days and on both rides have been heckled by guys in excessively large trucks on Sycamore and Oak Glen. In both instances I was minding my own business, riding near the shoulder, and obeying all the rules. They both just thought it would be amusing to scream at me as they drove by, attempting to startle me and perhaps cause me to crash. This usually happens about every other time I'm on a bike ride, but this week I'm 2 for 2."

"Oak Glen has a lot of blind curves. If you are riding your bike, and not going the speed limit, then I must follow behind you going whatever speed you are. This puts my children in danger in my car because if someone comes around the corner going the speed limit behind me then I will get rear ended. I get rude cyclists waving me to go around them around blind corners. I will not go past you on a blind corner to get hit just so you don't feel rushed. Please ride your bike on straight roads or on roads with bike lanes. It is safer for all parties."

Living in Georgia, I totally understand the capability of drivers and their lack of awareness of cyclists. The propensity to be on the phone, doing other things and the standard of driving is poor, so being a cyclist, you have to take extra care
