Vee Tire co 'rainrunner'

Ok. I've become a bit of a wuss when it comes to wet weather riding. Never used to be but a few offs and here I am.
I'm happy until a bend/roundabout comes along then I'm tip toeing round.

So I bought some Rainrunners having read good reviews. 2 rides in and I'm worse than ever. I'm convinced that the tyres are moving around on cambers and changes in surface never mind the corners.
I've done 100psi then 120 psi as per the recommendation in the reviews but I'm not happy at all..
Anyone any experience of these or similar?
I need to get past this as it's just the start of winter after all.

As an aside they do feel a bit slow which would suggest they're grippy??

Soft rubber will move about more, which probably leads to the feeling of camber following.

When you have come off, are you in the drops, or on the hoods?

Get in the drops, you'll put less weight on the front tyre, and get your centre of gravity lower, so less chance of the front wheel washing out.
