Under bar/stem light or mount
Discussion
I'm looking for an under bar/stem light or mount, I'm more concerned with 'being seen' rather than lighting the road ahead, my new commute doesn't require me to ride in total darkness.
The new Knog looks appealing but the whole PWR bank looks a bit of a faff.

The Trek Blender looks good but the total cost with new stem is prohibitive.

Only real alternative I can find is a crown mounted attachment.

I mount a USE Strada Mk1 upside down so that it's under the bars. The beam is either wide or wide plus spot and has no up/down bias, so you just point it at the angle you want to strike the deck. Works really well at keeping the bars less busy looking, and allows you to "chew the stem" without chipping your teeth on the lamp!
I use a couple of these

Granted they are top mounted because of the cables but if that is not an issue you can easily flip them under the bars

I've just bought a Moon Nebula, not completely under stem but munt can get pretty close and then have of it is under but also far enough forward that doesn't interfere with hand positioning.
My daughter has a Moon on her stem for being seen, she then has a Lezyne on her bars for seeing. Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
