Well it's gone. Couldn't find a buyer and finished end of September.

There were a few gems in there. But like so many of the little channels, they didn't stick to their schedules or timings. My TiVo box often recorded stuff but of course when you played it back it was something completely different.
Also somewhat frustratingly, several programmes I did see the music was louder than the people speaking voices. So you kinda gave up after 5 mins since it was unwatchable.
Will miss the Ironman/Challenge Triathlon coverage most though.
One of the comments at Cycling Weekly suggest Eurosport starting a dedicating cycle channel that could pick up the slack. Seems a good plan.

I miss it! Yes most of it was pants, being badly dubbed Italian programmes, but it did have good coverage of races.
They showed cx live with the Dvv trophy, Cape Epic, and the Red bull stream for XCO and dh.
British Eurosport are just as bad for not sticking to the published schedule. Many a time did I put the tv on for the biathlon only to be met with tennis. I complained about it, to be told it wasn’t their fault!! They openly blamed Eurosport!

I'm surprised it's taken until now to have a mention in a thread on a cycling forum. Just goes to show how little watched it was really.
I have to say I was the same. Hear announcement of dedicated cycling TV channel, and think "Hurrah!". Then fail to tune in because you kinda forgot about it and it's too far from either end of the programme guide to find it by scrolling through said guide when at a loose end.
Then I found it while looking for something else and put a couple of series links on. Mainly that Anna Glowinski MTB series touring British bike park venues. The trouble was, I was "putting up with her" for the benefit of seeing the locations, yet there was far too much filler going into what sometimes felt like a party political broadcast on behalf of the vegetarian cyclists party.
What it needed was something to draw in non-cyclists really. Because in my house, I'm the only one of four adults who actively identifies as "A Cyclist". My wife and sons all ride bikes, but more as a utility than a hobby. They would roll their eyes if I tried to watch the Bike Channel live or via catch-up/recordings.
I noticed pretty quickly when it disappeared, but as no-one on here seemed to have missed it, I didn't feel it even merited a mention.
Oh, and yes, that failure to broadcast something even remotely close to what was scheduled was a huge issue. Along with the (perfectly understandable, given low budgets) limitations of making programmes on a shoestring. But I miss it all the same. TV needs something along those lines, appealing to general cyclists, not just "bike race fans". There are plenty of places to see major (and some minor) bike races, but little on general TV channels to appeal to those who want to participate rather than watch the pros trundle around central Europe for hours on end before sprinting for the line in the last 45 seconds. Some of those shows on Bike Channel were meeting that brief quite well to be fair. You'd have hoped that eventually they'd have moved away from a lot of the Italian made content to more stuff tailored for a British audience. Sadly it wasn't to be.
Fingers crossed that someone else will be able to come up with a concept that brings cycling to the small screen and manages to keep it there. There are so many sub-cultures within cycling that I'm sure interesting TV can be made about them AND manage to be successful, but in practice it has been difficult to draw a large enough regular audience to attract commercial sponsorship and make money.

Yes, probably the only option now, although my laptop has never worked when attempting to use the HDMI out to the TV so might be time for a new one. Or, I could use the Apple TV and Airplay the app from my phone.Didn’t they blame ‘technical’ issues when it was off air a few months ago?
A few interesting things were shown, but 90% absolute garbage. Badly dubbed arty films that happened to use a bike fleetingly.
On the same level as the Evangelist channels in the rarely explored satellite dirge areas.
