I’ve not been able to find it in any shops local to me, not a surprise given it’s aimed at more subscription only sales I know. But is it any good? Is it the standard 1 or 2 ride articles then endless product testing or do they focus more in the riding story side of things as the title would suggest?

Tempted to get a subscription and give it a go but some opinions would be good to hear first.

Cheers chaps and chapette’s.

I've been a subscriber since the beginning. The product test to actual stories about riding ratio is very much in favour of the latter.

You could buy a single copy from the online shop to get a feel for whether it's for you or not if you don't want to commit fully - http://singletrackworld.com/shop/

Yeah it’s good. Nearly all bike magazines are full of st but STW has managed to avoid going all “Get! Faster! Now!” and stick to interesting articles about riding. Photography can be good too.

Yup, I’m a print subscriber ever since the cloud funder from the mtb film. Can’t see me cancelling anytime soon.

Happy days. I’ll get an issue ordered now, didn’t see you could order single issues on the website somehow, sounds like a better option than the easier to find mags.

I mostly read MBR as they aren’t as ridiculous as MBUK when it comes to their idea of the ‘average rider’

It's a nice magazine, but it is fully in the aspirational camp. The riding trips they talk about aren't a weekend in the peak district, more of "yeah, spent a month riding somewhere where people have never even seen a bike before, because I'm great". Lovely photography bit it's all a bit beyond the reach of mere mortals for me.

The home page of pinkbike seems to cover everything the magazines do so hardly ever read magazines any more.

I used to buy mbr, mbuk, dirt and Stephen mag every month. Then the ad content started increasing so I stopped. The mag's blame declining sales on the trend to read on the internet. I blame slimming content and ads.

I don't like stw mag as they seem to body swerve giving any sort of meaningful reviews. They avoid being bold and saying 'that is bad'. It's too wishy washy.

Pinkbike does it all. The reviews don't slate acproduct but...They are very in-depth.
