Shimano brake line ends, reusable?

Re framing my bike and have to run the brake lines internal, and the ends doing fit so need removing. Is the below fitting reusable? I have enough free line to cut it off and re press it into the line. Thanks

Nope, sorry - they're not. They're compression fitting and are supposed to distort as you thread them in. You'll be setting yourself up for leaks. Just buy new ones - annoyance is that they are a challenge to find.

I reuse mine, opened them back up with a tapered drift. I buy spares, but I can never find them when I need them. No leaks on three bikes...
