Mountain bike storage
Discussion
Hi all, just thought I'd ask for some advice regarding storing my mtb when not in use.
It lives in the garage but currently leans against the wall and takes up a fair bit of floorspace. I had a look online and these pulley systems are alot cheaper than I expected

It's for an orange five 27.5 if that makes a difference, is anyone using anything similar or better? I'm not looking to spend a fortune but I'd like some more floorspace if it's cheap/easy to achieve.

We've got one, seemed like a good idea to get 2 bikes above the other two.
I wouldn't get another, and will be replacing with fixed hooks probably.
The ideas good, and if you need to raise the bike above the height you can lift it to, or if you are unable to lift it could be an option.
I found the hooks that go under the saddle didn't hold one time, and the bike fell as I was raising it.

I went for some Steadyrack Racks from Evans - available elsewhere too.
Stores bikes vertically but they can swing sideways which is really handy for access as they can go close together and meant I can store the various bikes and surfboards in a smallish area, and also meant in my case that they could be stored to ease door access.
I got mine in the sale but are about £50 each - cheaper ones are available but these do work really well.
