I’m looking for a good quality bike holder that’s wall mounted. Could you recommend any?

Was you thinking of horizontal or vertical storage?

I've only got experience of the Steadyrack, I think that they are great & allow me to store a few bikes in a smallish space.

I just use big red hooks from wilko's, £1 each... screw into wall and then hook the wheel in. For my fancy bike that never gets used I have two hooks, one under the handle bars, one under the seat, looks pretty smart and does the same as the expensive racks.

Where would this be for, as that would make a difference - garage, shed, hallway, living room?

My garage is full of these and they work really well for all types of bikes http://www.wiggle.co.uk/x-tools-wallmount-bike-sto...

I have them at offset heights for my bikes and the kids bikes which means I can fit more in!

I have just purchased a Clug http://www.wiggle.co.uk/clug-roadie-bike-holder/ as I am curious, but haven't used it yet.

Please note Wiggle links were just the first I found - they can be got from other sources as well

Cheers,

Dr Murdoch

Hope you don't mind joining in OP....

But I'm moving to a new house soon with a garage and will have the same issue, but one of the requirements I would like is security.

Are there any recommendations for a rack/stand/holder which I can lock my bikes to?

I've got five of the SteadyRack "hangers" - more expensive than the basic ones but they can be rotated to make getting bikes out easier

Cycloc looks like it fits the bill in terms of security. It’s designed as a wall-mounted bike holder to which you can secure your bike. Has anyone used one?

Cheap and seem ok.

That would be a weak link, although depends on the value you are securing? I'd look for either ground or wall anchor, with sold secure gold approved chain. Motorbike chains are heavier, although far more resistant to attack.

Feedback sports make some nice ones, options to hold from front wheel, seat post or frame.
