La Bresse DH World Cup
Discussion
I think one of the main reasons Maes won at La Bresse was the style of the track, there was a sprint section which is longer than usually seen on the DH WC courses, which suites the enduro rider better.
No disputing he's amazing on a bike though and definitely in with a shot.
I'd love to see Pierron come from being relatively unknown last year to getting the WC overall and the World Champs this year, that would be cool!

Was a good race.
Almost more surprising than Maes’ win was Gee winning qualifying and 2nd in the race after more than a few years of dropping out of the top 10.
As above Maes’ is a fantastic rider and rode a great run, but was slightly helped by running whilst it was raining, before it started to dry and made the track claggy and the 30 second sprint in the middle.
