Lake district MTB routes

After some recommendations please. My brothers and I will be heading to the lake district mid-September to do some mountain biking. I'd love to see your favourite routes and recommendations. Particularly if anyone has any experience of the Helvelyn route.

Criteria are:

Between 15 and 40 miles in length
Around the Kewick area but realistically anywhere a 40 or some minute drive from there is fine
Views and surrounds ranked above knarliness, my brothers haven’t got that much experience mountain biking so a vehicle width track through great views would be appreciated more than some serious singletrack. We’ll probably all be on hardtails as well.
Bonus points for being near great swimming spots

Whinlatter forest is where I would be heading!

Did a decent loop up there with my wife who had pretty much zero MTB experience- she coped fine on a hardtail and there are more challenging trails round there too.

Here's a loop around Girzedale and Esthwaite, you could park at the MTB trail centre and go from there, some great scenery! https://www.strava.com/activities/975480974

Good shout thank you, might head to a trail centre for an afternoon but really looking for more natural trails this time.
