Soft lock-on MTB grips

The grips that came with my new MTB are thin, hard and uncomfortable so want to change them.

I know grips are a very personal thing, but would be good to get some initial recommendations.

I've got Ergon on my bikes. IIRC GE1 on my hardtail and GP1 on my fatty.

ETA checked and have GE1 not GA1...

If you want softer grips, the SRAM foam lock-ons are cheap and pretty good. Deity make a fat squishy grip called the Supracush with a good reputation too.

Depending what your bike is, you might not have to go to an extra fat and squishy grip for a good improvement. Some OEM grips (like the Bontrager grips on some Treks) are truly awful.

The Ergon GE1 is my favourite grip so far, but I haven't tried all that many options.
