I like the option of normal bibs and then leg or knee warmers. Gives options for cold mornings.

I don't like feeling like I'm wearing short shorts when not in warmers though...

These were going to be my recommendation as well. Comfiest shorts I've ever worn, perfect length in the long (so stop just above the knee), great grippers (don't move at all but no uncomfortable) and sensible money as they are often available for around £99 a pair.

I've got a few pairs of lasso bibs, like them because they're cut long, but the most recent pair are noticeably shorter which was disappointing. Not sure if they have changed their sizing?

Definitely swerve Assos bibs. Bib tights are great but the shorts are like Daisy Dukes!
