Good routes near LA12 8PX, Ulverston, Cumbria

Hi All,

Anyone local to Ulveston, Cumbria?

Got a group of mixed ability riders so rides of circa 50 miles and 2,000ft climbing starting and finishing at LA12 8PX.

Looking for good routes in the area? Any must sees?

I want to do Coniston Waters so have planned a route round the lake. Anything else?? Could go a little further and higher, but don't go mad.

I'm quite happy to design a course. I was really looking for interesting points, areas etc to take in. Something that I really shouldn't miss whilst I'm in the area.

I will have a look at the Garmin courses though.

If you ask Garmin to use the most popular routes, it tends to give you the good stuff
