Pro's seem to be quite fast

We all know they're a bit special but when you look at these two just having a bit of blast for giggles compared to us normal folk killing ourselves up a hill you realise just how different they really are

There is a reason they're so fast, that's their job - that's what they live & train for. 20-30+ hours a week, plus all the best recovery, and nutrient information.

Impressive video but how would they be with my 40kilos of ballast not to mention 45 years plus.
If I’m twice the professional KOMs times I’m happy eg Ventoux and some Yorkshire climbs.
But still impressive.

i just enjoy watching exceptional people doing their thing, i’m 80kg rather than 70kg and 1 year shy of half a century to even think i could hang on for as much as 30 seconds but great to see these guys smashing it up.

If they are blowing past that quick, the riders they are passing are either a) not riding too hard b) leisure riders, rather than decent level racing cyclists c) at the end of a much longer ride than the pros.
