Looking at treating myself to a full suspension mtb after a number of years away.
Looking at the bike below which is about an hour away, am i right in thinking this is a Stumpjumper?

Does it look worth £600?
The seller is very short on details for a bike that looks quite used, is there any place i can check it isn’t stolen, ie serial number check or similar. I know about the datatag system but that requires a reader.
Any help greatly appreciated, and thanks for taking the time to read.

Looks like a Stumpjumper from around the 2012 - 2014 period to me. In terms of value, try to find some similar ones for sale on Pinkbike as a gauge (remember, that’s what they’re trying to sell at, not what they’ll necessarily get).
Values (perceived or otherwise) have been daft since Covid and some people are expecting silly money for stuff.
Ask the seller for a full spec list.
In terms of provenance, I really don’t know - buy the seller. Hate that term but I think it’s the only way.

No idea on value to be honest, but £600 feels a bit a rich for a ten year old 26in wheel bike.
Listen to Cheesecake - don’t listen to me! In my defence, I don’t know much about Spesh bikes https://www.specialized.com/gb/en/camber-expert/p/...
