That was a good watch - thanks for sharing.

If your partner was the Cardiac Consultant then she came across very well!

^ I tried my hardest to find an excuse to at least be onsite that day, but sadly they only wanted people who could add meaningful content to the video there…….just hanging around saying ‘I subscribed to GCN’ wasn’t a good enough reason apparently smile

I saw them on a ride one time. Didn't turn up in the video, sadly.

Don't worry, it was a Byway Open to All Traffic!
This photo was just after, that section wasn't subject to the TRO.

There are all sorts of paths that are legally BOATs but you could never negotiate them in a car. Some are simply so unused by motor traffic that it negatively affects their use by horse and bicycle riders. Then there are roads (on farms and private estates, for example) that are legally Footpaths, where the landowner (or their representatives) will insist you get off a bike and walk even where the road surface is sealed concrete/asphalt and wide enough for an articulated lorry to pass a tractor. I even found (in Wiltshire or North Dorset) a section of Byway which was out of bounds to motor traffic for the winter months, but fair game in the summer, something I'd never seen before, nor since.

Nice!

I met Manon and Co at the Velochique cycling cafe in Monchique in the Algarve when they were filming there. The cafe owner, a mate and I deliberately cycled there to meet them.

I had a bike featured on the "buy upgrades" bit

Won a GCN cycling cap. Which was crap quality and horrible material.

I rode past Hank a couple of weeks ago, plastered in mud and vocally blamed GCN for my predicament. He seemed fine with it.
