SPD SL Cleats / Forearm aching
Discussion
Two separate issues I am after some of your thoughts on.
Does anyone by the discounted Amazon SPD SL cleats instead of the Shimano genuines? I am looking online and some of them are around 1/4 of the price. I can't see much risk with them to be honest, unless I should be stumping up for genuine ones.
And also, has anyone developed aching forearm for no reason? I have been riding around 5k a year since 2012 on my road bikes, and this year out of nowhere I have developed a slight and subtle ache on my left outer forearm from elbow along to wrist (not including either). Just feels tight. I thought this was down to doing body weight workouts in winter however I have now identified this is from riding. Odd.

I had some forearm pain a year or two ago. Don't think it was caused by riding, but I definitely noticed the pain/ache when I was. I turned my brake slightly inwards on that side to get my wrist more in-line/neutral and the discomfort stopped while riding. (Other things kept me off the bike for most the rest of that year, and the pain/ache was still there ages after riding so another reason not to think it was caused by riding) Random_Person said:

Coincidentally, I received these today, ordered from Amazon, which I believe to be genuine Shimano, they cost £10.95 which is cheaper than some copies.Does anyone by the discounted Amazon SPD SL cleats instead of the Shimano genuines?
