Help with sizing for Cube hybrid one77 emtb

Evening all,

I want to get an eMtb, and I've been looking at the Cube Stereo Hybrid One77 HPC Race 800 2025. It seems to cover all my bases, full suspension, modern components and reassuringly expensive without being over the top at a pound shy of 4k. My problem is sizing. The size guide says small up to 170cm, medium up from 170cm. I'm 170 on the money! I've also got relatively short legs, depending on brand I'm either a 30" or 32" leg in trousers. Am I better off with the smaller frame so at least the dropper will go as low as I need it to, both in the down and up position. My current bike is a 8 yr old Voodoo Bizango hard tail, which I think is a small frame, but it's also got 29er wheels front and back, and sometimes my a$$ gets worryingly close to the rear wheel. The cube is a mullet so that may help that, but with the full suspension the rear wheel will also be coming up to meet me! I'm going to see if tred in Swansea have got any in stock tomorrow that I can sit on, but thought I'd ask her for any hive mind knowledge.

Also anyone with an opinion on the biek itself?
