So had the day at Bike Park Wales, end of the day body very tired. Final run of A470 (jump trail). Then on one of the final large jumps, i just got completely bucked, straight over the bars on landing.

Probably best part of 25-30MPH straight over the bars!

Helmet now for the bin, but no head injuries.

I think i might have a broken right collar bone, as very painful to lift right arm. My back is very red!, and my right hand hurts a lot.
So prob going to be a trip to A&E in the morning.

Hate to think how a cheap amazon special would have performed?

Oh and most importantly, there is barely a scratch that i can see on the Nukeproof Giga!

Looks like a fair old hit.

Depending how old your helmet is, TLD should have a crash replacement policy for a new one.

Ouch, could have been so much worse, pleased you're not too broken. Friend of a friend had a similar thing at BPW last year, but being a BMX guy he had his BMX piss pot on and the outcome was significantly worse.

Thats a heavy impact... it did it's job, and is an excuse to get a shiny new one. Hang it on a nail in the garage as a reminder to ride carefully.
I cannot fathom riding with a half shell porta-potty as some do... the consequences of a stack like that wearing one doesn't bear thinking about.

Last park day I did, I called it early after three runs (season pass, so not worried about the cost so much) as I felt tired and just not up to it. Friend didn't call it, crashed, and his season is now over due to injury.
