New Ride

After breaking my leg and ankle last October and at 70 years old you do not bounce back so quickly. I have been very reluctant to get back on my Hybrid soft trail bike, but last week I readied myself and went out for an hour, I came alive again.

We moved house in March and we are within a mile of Cannock Chase so I decided to go for a hard tail MTB so I can do the miles of soft trails.








Trek Marlin + 6 Bosch motor kicks out 50 nm and should be good for 4 hrs which is ample for my use. I can buy a clip on extra power pack which will give another 60% of the original battery.

Well done on getting back on the bike ... I guess many people (of a certain age) would give up after a nasty injury ... the mental and physical benefits will outweigh the injury risk. Enjoy the new ride!

They did not have the blue in my size, but the red is an amazing colour on the bike.

PS don’t mention it on the Everton thread😉
