Opinions on this Hardtail
Discussion
I have a couple of bikes but am looking for something as an all rounder XC type hardtail which would be used on light trails and also some leisure/gravel riding and was looking between a Mondraker DC R and a Grand Canyon AL7/8. However, I chanced on the fact that Halfords have the Voodoo Bizango Carbon Pro on offer for £1100. The fork alone is worth hundreds and is far superior to the fork on my other two options. Anyone have an opinion or knowledge of the bike, I can't see a negative bar the brand snobbery that I may have....
Not much online other than positive vibes from bike mags. Little owner stuff on youtube or the like.

Don't let the carbon frame blind your choice
The Grand Canyon AL8 had a better rear Derailleur and shifters, XT vs Deore
Better brakes, SLX vs M6000
The Canyon has DT Swiss wheels, the Voodoo look to be unbranded.
The fork is probably better on the Voodoo.
The resale on the Canyon will be much much better than the Voodoo if that is important to you.
