Advice from the knowledgable please, I’ve just bought a 2nd hand spin bike (because it was a faff taking my bike on / off the turbo trainer).
It’s a Keiser M3 which was picked up for peanuts, well £100, only downside is the monitor is knackered.
Replacements are £300 from Keiser, so I’m looking for alternatives, at the moment I’m using the Wahoo app with an HRM, the app screen shows power and cadence which would be good to have, but the optional Wahoo pedals use road cleats and I cycle in running shoes or Shimano mtb shoes.
Any advice please?
TIA

The M3 (not M3i) was pretty dumb from the get go (I've got one), so power meter pedals are probably the way forward. I spent ages over the years trying to drag it into the 21st century and gave up. You can always buy a pair of shoes just for the spinning. That's what I did, and gave up entirely on trying to track anything .. just pedal like a maniac smile
