Electric Rickshaw / Pedicab / Cambridge bike

As a kid in the run up to summer my dad would always be working on a project that could the be used in the summer, we learnt so much fixing up old tat and customising it for a task / adventure

Many crazy bike trips cycling onto a euro bound ferry and a short tour, home. The equipment would then be passed around friends who did the same with their families etc, a great time

I was contemplating a converting a pedicab (like the things you see in London) / Cambridge bike?? (The 4 wheel / 4 person bikes you see at butlins) to run on elecric

We live near the new forest so would be out and about in adventures days really early

My folks have two e-bikes with big batteries so I plan to borrow the batteries and work backwards

Am I barking mad? Are there any rules I’m going to fall down on - I need it to be above board etc, must be done to the letter of the law

Also this would help get my outlaws out with my young daughter, they are not really outdoors types, but time is marching on and memories need to be made

The other adventure is I would like to cycle something substantial to Holland and my wife could catch us up on a plane

These are the rules. Four wheels shouldn’t be an issue but you need to be 14yrs old to ride one. Your daughter may have to just sit without peddling

Brilliant, I did hunt for that, but clearly not enough

Ideally a 4 wheeler so we can take my wife’s parents for a spin
