I have used Insure and Go for a number of years for my yearly travel insurance policy as they cover pretty much everything as well as mountain biking holidays - last time ask they cover cycling as long as there was no racing . Unfortunately it looks like they now don’t cover mountain biking or road riding, only the use of a bike for getting about town. Any recommendations that still cover a actual riding holiday?

I use Cedar Tree, same deal, all covered except for racing. I think there might be a clause about being over a certain altitude too, but it’s not a concern for most.
I usually then take out a Laka policy to cover my bike for the duration of the trip.

We always used Snowcard for our French and Spanish MTB holidays. Only had to call on the policy once when a pal tumbled into a ravine and hurt himself badly, and the support from Snowcard (and the Spanish hospitals) was top notch.

Doesn't help with MTBing trips but my policy with Admiral says it covers:

So good for road riding including sportives.

Renewal this year was £23.

Nationwide Flexplus travel insurance covers cycling and Mountain biking – other than trails graded as easy or moderate. I only know this when I was checking it on the way to the hospital after cutting the end of my finger off last summer biggrin

Cycling on uneven ground?

So road riding in the UK is out then.

Seems a bit ambiguous and a nice get out of jail card for the Insurance co.

We use sports cover direct. Covers mountain biking as long as there is some uphill. Also includes biking with some uplifts as well.
