Fizik shoes

I'm after a new pair of shoes as my Giro Empire SLX shoes are pretty tired, I've eeked out every past penny I can put of them and they've been great.
I wanted something with a BOA as the laces on the Giro's are a bit annoying. I tried the newer Giros with a BOA but I'm in between sizes and can't get a comfy fit (current shoes are 47, newer Giros in a 47 are a touch too small and a 48 is too big).

I tried a Size 48 Fizik R4 tempo over curve and they were too big, I tried a 47 and it also feels a touch too big. I printed off Fiziks size guide/template to measure my feet and it suggests a 47 or even 48!

Anybody else have issues with Fizik shoes? Every review I've seen says they come up small but I'm having the opposite issue!

I've seen a good deal on a size 46.5 but it's a different model of Fizik shoe and I know if I order them they're going to be too small!

Just got info I'm a size 12 in normal shoes but I have cycling shoes ranging from size 47 to 49 (UK 14/15!!)

47 is size 12, not 14
48 is 12.5
49 is 13.5

Get some Lake shoes from somewhere you can try them on, and get your feet measured correctly.

I’d say my Fizik’s are maybe slightly small than trainers that size, but they’re wider than SiDi’s.

I find Fizik to be the right size in length but too tight

If helpful I take a EU size bigger with Shimano and Specialized are "just right"

I have a pair of Fizik R1 Infinito.

They have been great shoes, upgrade from previous Fizik ones and also have a pair of their winter road shoes.

I have size 11 feet and the Fiziks are 45.5. Perfect with summer socks, can feel a little tighter with thicker winter socks but still okay.

I’d likely get Fizik again when required.
