Afternoon all

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction for this

Around 7 years ago I got a cheap hoodoo bike from Halfords on the cycle2work scheme used it for a few years pootling to work and back quite happily then moved away and the bike went into the shed of nothingness at the bottom of my parents garden.

I've since put a few pounds on and would like to start cycling around again but the bike has seen better days, I think it needs a good going through and possibly some new gear related parts on the back end, is it worth getting a shop to try fix it up or given the relatively cheap nature of the bike do I cut my loses and get a new one?

Many thanks

You could try Drakey

https://www.drakescycles.co.uk/

He looks after all Mrs DSs side of the family’s bikes and he’s a very nice bloke indeed. Does collection etc - check out his site. There are some service prices on there.
