Does anyone use and can recommend these? A quick look online and the REDSHIFT ShockStop Endurance seems to get the best reviews. Will probably order but at £229 would like to be sure these reviews are genuine.. thanks

I have a redshift stem, it was pricey but works. Can I ask though what kind of bike? Compliant tyres / suspension are better solution and can be tuned for a smoother ride. Pretty much all bike forms can be purchased with some sort of front / rear suspension these days.

Thanks. It is an e-bike - Specialized Turbo Vado 2 SL 5.0 eq. I have lower back disc issues so my natural shock absorbers in my spine have lost most of their flexibility hence riding a stiff bike aggravates my back. I don't expect a suspension seat post to cure it but every little helps.

I have a Vado 4 sl with both a redshift stem and seat post on. They do work very well.

Brilliant, thank you for reply. Thankfully the bike already has the Future Shock 3.1 (20mm travel) handlebar stem.

Same Vado as the OP.
I have a Cane Creek eeSilk+ which mitigates a portion of the shock. I chose this after reading countless tests and assessments. However, I think the greater improvement for me was junking the OE tyres and fitting Conti Contact 40mm tyres. Another thing is tyre pressure, which contrary to what I was taught, has little detriment being run a bit lower. I run 3bar frt and 3.5rr and sometimes a bit lower.

I've got a dropper/suspension post on my Gravel bike, (Giant Revolt) and if i'm honest I don't really like it, the movement is only 20mm but it's enough to make me fidget about and feel like it's not quite come back up far enough. might be different on an mtb, but with 29inch tyres running at the right pressure (ie not 50psi) you're getting more than enough compliance.

they do take some of the shock out for sure. last about 3,000miles I find before wear makes them a little squeaky
