Compete parts list
Discussion
Hi
I'm currently in the process of building a new XC bike from scratch.
At the moment i just have the frame and front forks.
Does anyone know where i can get a fairly comprehensive list of parts required so i can cross them off as i source them. Looking for something to include all the little bits such as saddle post clamp etc, not just wheels and frame.
Regards
Chris

Belive it or not i started out on this route as i thought it would be a cheap way of getting a nice bike, then you start specing things and then it goes mad, continuously increasing the quality of kit until you've spent the sort of money that buys you a decent car, as you say you get the bike you want, and have the sense of pride that it all your hard work.

hahaha started the same was gonna sit and wait for ebay bargains, got a set of wheels off ebay when a was still at uni to upgrade my bike, then seen forks and the next thing i knew was a had a stripped frame and was starting from scrath, my statements have alot of debits from chain reaction now lol
stick with it tho, i found rebuilding my honda cr125 easier to rebuild than my mountain bike
theres a good wee booklet in halfords at the moment which is free sure its called grimetime am sure and was lots of useful instructions to get your bike running
