right guys,

any recommendations as to which bike lights to use for my first forays into night riding. I want a decent bright set with around a 3hr burn time. Im looking at the Li-Ion Lumicycles with a 12w spot and an 8w Flood.

any thoughts?

oh - im looking around the £200 mark

Cheers

Went for my first nightride tonight. Damn that was good fun. Even funnier when my main light went out with a cool DH to go. Two bikers sharing one light is nuts

Damn good laugh though

The light and motion lights are normally £425 (lion HID) - I managed to get mine new on enay for £220 incl delivery (from the states). They are the dogs. I have compared to all avail lights and havent found anything yet that I think is better (some are as good but they cost 500 - 600 ish).

I bought mine from 'sportsduster' on ebay. I bought them slightly cheaper than the following advert (via a non buy it now):-
