Nose-dived a road jump today at Ludlow, went over bars, face planted etc etc...

End result is a broken peak on my Troy Lee weeping

Tried the normal Wiggle, Chain Reaction Cycles etc... anyone know the best place to buy a replacement? All my local bike shops annoy me so would prefer to buy online.

Thanks

Edited to add - I know you can easily get the chrome ones but they look pants on a white helmet. Can I get the original one from:

Try contacting Fishers who are the UK distributer of TLD gear.

I think you'll struggle though as that is a year or so old design now. Hope you do find one though.

Another option might be to contact Simon Paton who runs the shop on descent-world.co.uk

Failing that, I reckon ebay will be your best bet

Yeah... thats another option. I'd prefer to get the white flames continued though.

I love the track at Ludlow. Very fast

Bit of a shame about the crash, but had a spare wheel so swapped it over and went for another 4 runs. Gotta love uplift days bounce

Just an update on this. Fishers are struggling to get Troy Lee to send them ANY spares at the moment which sucks.

I'm looking into getting a black one (which is a rubbery type and a bit more flexible than plastic) and getting a mate to paint it.

If anyone wants a custom painted helmet, give Rich a call - www.richartconcepts.co.uk/

I have a full face bell lid, which is as light as the specialized £150 lid, but the bell is only £50. Looks cool, so may be an option to the lack of spares.

My helmet is fine. I'm just a ponce when it comes to asthetics so want to replace my slightly cracked visor. I could run it visorless but that looks pants.
