anyone looking for a downhill bike?
Discussion
i have a 2002 intense m1 for sale, in red, medium. race ready and in pretty good condition
hardly used, in summer i spent £700 putting on new cranks, chain device, rear mech, chain, stem, bars, grips, tyres, new mavic rims, headset, pedals, seat etc etc etc, but all top quality components ie easton aluminium etc .
it has a set of 7" rockshox boxxers in red and the fox vanillaRC shock on the rear, very plush and great machine to ride,
i used it in the alps for a week in summer and previous 2 summers before upgrading all the components. will post picture up later tonight hopefully.
not sure what its worth but it cost me about £5000 in total.

DH bikes depreciate like crazy. It sucks. I've got a Tomac 204 Magnum of similar age and wouldn't expect to get much more than £1400 for the full bike now
Have a look around www.southerndownhill.com and ebay and look at what prices bikes are going for on there.
Good luck. M1s are awesome bikes.

Also www.descent-world.co.uk on the forum classifieds.
Unortunatley its a buyers market, DH bikes suffer huuuuge depreciation. You will definitely get more by splitting the bike - for instance if your boxxers are the Cherry red boxxer Pro's, they are quite sought after in good nick.
