cycling to le mans

has anybody ever cycled/caught the train to go to le mans? its something im considering doing next year.

A crowd from the TVRCC cycled it several years in a row, for charity. I can't remember how long it took them, but post something on the Le Mans or TVR forum, I'm sure some of them will still be around.
