Hi,

Any recommendations for a cheap/basic computer to measure speed/trip distance?

Also, during my ride this evening I have found a great downhill section that I want to go a bit faster down. I'm keen to get some elbow/knee padding as the trail is a bit rutted and has some large stones. Any recommendations for some pads that won't make me look a knob when I get back on the road?

1) Any computer'll do. El cheapo Cat Eye wireless jobbie on my bike works nicely smile

2) 661 Kyle Straits or Veggies. The former is bigger and has a hard shell, the latter smaller and no hard shell. I've found the Straits to be fine for pedalling too smile
