Ok since its rainy season I need some decent mudguards to keep the spray from my tyres on my commute
heres my bike as it is now

but I will be refitting my solid forks over the weekend

any recomendations ?
the less spray that hits me the better on my fast'ish short commute

That’s some serious tension in that derailleur!!

What about getting some decent waterproofs? Mudguards will stop the spray but if it’s raining you will still get wet.

Try these ,SKS Adventure MTB Set fro Evans. They are not the widest of mud guards but seem to do the job. They are meant for v brakes but the on a thinner wheel, so the rear one needs to go through the frame and above the rear brakes.Hope that makes sence or I'll post some piccies.

the guards in the link dont look like they would help too much as the back tyre gets the back of my legs with the spray yuck the front might be better than my crud catcher though wink

laugh I still get chain slap even with it that tight banghead
I considered waterproofs but its the damn spray that gets me the worst
as on the school run with my 9 year old on his bike I dont realy get wet but we are only doing 8-10mph yet after I drop him off I get drenched at 20-25mph on the way to work
