UST tyre on a non UST rim?

Is it possible to use a UST tyre on a non UST rim?

I want to change to some Maxxis High Rollers L.U.S.T UST tyres and convert my rims using a Stans kit.

Would the tyre bead be compatible with a regular rim?

I've done it the other way, i.e. put a non UST tyre onto a Mavic UST rim. Not sure that helps, sorry

Pedant mode - LUST tyres are not UST tyres.

A Lust tyre will run fine with the Stan's kit and, indeed, with an innertube. As do UST tyres.
