Raleigh airlite 200 Any good?

Hay ive been recommended this as a started road bike, Is it any good for the price? What else should i look at?

depends what you want it for, personally i would have a look at the FCR range from Giant, at the price you are looking at you are not getting a race ready machine so i dont really think there is much logic in getting the dropped handle bar style road bike. if it is for fitness work straight bar road bikes are pretty good and can be much more comfortable on longer rides. they offer a better riding position through towns. granted they are slower than a dropped bar bike when you are going for it but how often will that be?
