Saturday afternoon is Llandegla afternoon for me & 5 mates.

We have got a real mix of abilities from a first timer to an 8 hour epic fan! So I think the first run round might be a couple of hours!

Anyone else there?

I just did this route for the 2nd time on monday. It really is quite a nice route, nothing particularly challenging in the climbs but some of the black runs are really nice and flowy.

Have fun!

Do you do the scenic extension up to the tower? Really adds to it IMO.

Not done that, as we have been going after work in the week & its a case of racing round the bits we know before the car park closes!

Where abouts is the extension?

Yeah, me and three mates were there yesterday. Ive been before but it was a first time for the other 3. The funniest thing ive ever seen happened part of the way round....

My mate had just finished the long section of north-shore about 3/4 of the way round when two others stopped quite quickly in front of him about 10 yds after the end. He couldnt clip out in time and end up falling entirely into a 2ft deep swamp/pond to the right of the track. clap

I was still doing the north-shore at the time, and just heard the splash. I had to stop because i was laughing so muchrotate

You can't laugh at people who fall off that section........... especially if they fall of onto tree roots as they "could" end up in A&E.........

He didnt fall off that section, he fell over when he stopped about 10 yds after it.
