Crikey, that's worrying; especially being a fellow bristolian.

Seems that Oranges are the bikes to be stolen, Moonie was telling me of a mates Orange that was stolen, seemingly to order, as they left his top drawer road bike and his wife's MTB...

On a positive note, my cousin has had two Oranges stolen in the last two years and had both recovered fairly shortly afterwards. It's unlikely that most thieves know what they've nicked.

Sorry to hear that.

Me and a mate had ours pinched a couple of years back when I was at uni. The police couldn't have been less helpful all we got from the gobby WPC was: "Well it's yer own fukin fault from bringing 'em to Swanzeee boyz. It's like they say in Twin Town - it's a pritty stty city." mad

I hope you have better luck. I also hope you get to give the people who took them a monumental kicking - I'd still love to get my hands on the ones who took mine.

Gutted, hope they turn up. Im in the area too so i will keep my eyes peeled for them.

I see you have notified the BMBC, how about the Bristol Trails Group and the University Mountain Bike Club?

Also might be an idea to let Bike Workshop on Colston Street know as they deal in secondhand bikes.
