Hello,

Which weatherproof (by that I mean wind and waterproof if possible!) cyling gloves do you recommend?

I went to my local evans with Endura Dexters in mind but they were sold out, and said there is a wider choice online...

Help please

I have a pair of SealSkin gloves.

They're certainly wind / cold / water / nuclear bomb -proof but they do come up short in the finger and are very bulky to wear, so I only wear them if it's really horrible out there (for commuting only - never for playtime as I find there's just not enough feel)

These will be solely for commuting, and I don't really like bulky ones either...

Will look up the ones on wiggle thanks!

I use Endura Dexters gloves, warm and not bulky. Only windproof though, but when it rains my hands don't get affected by windchill so stay warm.

Try Endura Strikes if your after waterproofing as well.
Think Wiggle do them.

I have a massive pair of ski gloves for when things are really bad. Nothing, repeat nothing gets through them.

Theres a boat shop local to me that I plan to visit to buy some new work gloves, I want full goretex gloves.

I used a pair of Sealskins yesterday on Cross Fell - kept the wind and water out fine. A bit bulky but not too bad.

I just bought some Dexters today...I thought the Strikes were just a bit on the thick side for my needs.

I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago:

waterproof, warm and grippy - I think they are excellent at the reduced price.

I’ve just bought some Gore-Tex gloves for winter riding for £20 from TK Maxx. They are a “ski-style” glove but seem far less bulky than the norm (the main reason I got them). I went out early last weekend and it was around 5 Celsius/cold wind and for the first couple of miles I was wishing I'd put a liner glove in there to be honest, but I guess that reduction in insulation is the trade off for better dexterity. For the majority of the ride though, they were perfect, my hands didn't get moist at all compared to how they get using my old "Thinsulate 40 gram" bad-boys silly. I've got a liner to stick in them anyway so should be fine when it starts getting really cold. And it's more the water/wind proofing I'm interested in, so far so good in that respect, although I've not been caught in a proper downpour yet!
