Hi all,

Said I would help my sister out finding a good bike for my brother in law for his birthday, best I can find so far is this Specialized, can anyone offer a better alternative?

Thanks

Nope, can't think of anything better for the money. Most other options - Revolution (edinburghbicycle.com), Merlin Malt, Commencal, etc, all have worse spec for the money.

Check out the Summer line of bikes. All are women specific with women specific geometry frames. Can't remember what the spec is like, but the mid and top end models are around the same price as the Specialized, and I recall it looked very reasonable spec wise

I'm sure MattW's Brother-In-Law would really appreciate a girl's bike! You could get some ribbons to hang off the end of the handlebars too! wink

Hmm, good for a six footer then... What sort of money are you looking for?

I paid 400 for it from my brother who had it and then promptly broke his leg (brand new), and I have ridden it twice, so in the region of 300?

PM me if you want full spec, its a lovley bike
