Good day today guys. Pity that the up lift service was booked out but had a good lap of the track with Wildcards, Shinysideup and random mate not on PH. Ran out of time to do a second lap too due to jabba the hut in the cafe.

Neil, Mk1 Fan and others - Nice to meet you and put faces to names.

Boy Moon - Will speak to my mate in Bristol and hopefully mail you his details.

All - PICTURES PLEASE!!!!!!

Please can someone find the picture of my 40 foot jump over the uplift van?!?

Likewise good to put names to faces

Just uploaded the cam footage of my off!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lm8b-FFTgo

It's ended up with a royality free sound track, the ambient sound from the slow motion bit sounded very very odd then I was playing with audioswap............

My conclusion is that I must have it a stone and for what ever reason let go of the bars and then shifted my weight forwards doing what appears a number of forward roles.

Shame I only managed 3 runs.

Was good would like to think there will be more PH rides.

You appear to have crashed in exactly the same place as my girlfriend did!

She also didn't know what happened, came out of the lower berm, and the bike just went out from under her. Even the damage looks to be fairly consistent. Helmet, shoulder & hip & a nice trip to Newport A&E. Apparently she shocked some walkers in her 'distance travelled in the crash zone' biggrin

Looks like you had a good day with the weather - any times yet?

I think the exit speed of the berm is around 20 - 25mph it happened so fast that there was no warning, looking at the ground after I travelled about 1.5 metres.

It was the first time I'd done the run on a hardtail but have done that corner over 20 times on the full sus.

I am glad I didn't end up in A&E I think that is because of the armour, but I felt pretty trashed on the drive home, sore now but everything appears to be working and not broken smile So should be back on a bike at the weekend.

Roll on the next on.

What I can take from this is that the downhill trail is much easier on a full suspension smile

If I can use a time from last weeks session (on youtube) then I submit a 4.24 for the black. Didn't do enough runs yesterday to record a time.
